Bundu Untamed for you
Bundu Untamed was founded by Ljubinko Ilic and Blaise Blake, who met whilst serving in the French Foreign Legion. The idea was born whilst on deployment in Northern and Central Africa, where they witnessed what was described as a disheartening scene. The destruction of the landscape, natural environment and lack of wildlife was a concerning matter that needed attention. A love for the wilderness and what Africa has to offer helped mould this idea into Bundu Untamed. After their time in the Legion, Blaise and Ljubinko got involved in the conservation sector as anti-poaching instructors for Mellivora Systems, contracting out to Frankfurt Zoological Society and The Sahara Conservation Fund. Bundu Untamed is about fighting the good fight, creating awareness, helping local communities and generating enough funds to support as many projects as possible all over Africa, with the aim to sustain and conserve the remaining wildlife and natural resources we have left.
What we see
Africa's environment has been in a state of despair for decades. The preservation of its wildlife and nature is an ongoing battle. Without positive action it will become worse as time goes on and the devastation will reach a point of no return.
The struggle for wildlife and nature conservation in Africa is a complex issue with many different factors at play, from the poaching of elephants and rhino, wild fires, deforestation, natural disasters and habitat loss due to conflict with humans through urbanisation. There are few places left where wildlife can roam without the threat of human interference.
What we offer to the world
We are committed to the preservation and protection of Africa's wildlife and natural resources through education, raising awareness, community actions and donations. To help the planet and the global population, Bundu Untamed sells an eco-friendly clothing brand suitable for the whole family, donating 10% of each sale to conservation in Africa
